Jacketed pan
A heating vessel used to heat its contents via a steel jacket. The jacket contains the heat medium such as steam, which surrounds the heat transfer area containing the contents.
Joule
A measure of work, energy, and quantity of heat. The Joule is the work down when the point of application of a force of 1 Newton is displaced through a distance of 1 meter in the direction of the force.
